We are looking for a part-time (20-25 hours per week) Administrative Assistant who will work well in our constantly changing, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.  This position will report primarily to the Human Resources Manager, but will provide support for the entire operations team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be exposed to a myriad of activities with human resources, marketing, and operations.  The administrative assistant will help with travel, event planning, recruiting, and social media, but many of the tasks may be special projects.  This position will be based on-site at our Alpharetta, GA corporate office.

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Provide general office support; including answering telephones, assisting visitors, and maintaining breakroom and office supplies
  • Support human resources with weekly reporting, continuing education coordination, and other tasks as needed
  • Assist in the recruiting process; e.g., source candidates & schedule interviews
  • Plan special events for the team or company-sponsored events.
  • Research, organize, and make travel arrangements. Ensure flawless arrangement of flights, hotel accommodations, and other travel needs.
  • Monitor social channels for trending news, ideas and memes, then capitalize on those trends through our social media accounts
  • Organize conference calls or facilities for all internal and external meetings.
  • Prepare promotional presentations
  • Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
  • Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
  • Support Marketing efforts for industry events
  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
  • Conduct market research by city centered around top industries and companies in specific markets
  • Conduct market research by verticals

Required knowledge, skills and experience:

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar office support role
  • Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, & Slides, with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong typing/keyboard skills (50-60 WPM)
  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
  • Experience with content creation and managing content on a CMS platform (Drupal, Wordpress, etc) a plus, even if not professionally
  • Aptitude to learn new tools and software quickly and independently

Education or Certifications required:  Bachelor’s degree.
